Month 6: updates and opportunities to get involved

In July, we invited the best and brightest entrepreneurial researchers to join M37, a new program aimed at developing next-generation energy technologies. A lot has happened since then and we're excited to give you an update on our effort. Below are six things we're fired up about at month six of our journey.

1. Our new name and website

Cyclotron Road began as 'M37' but we graduated to a new name and launched our website. We hope you like it.

2. A stellar first cohort of innovators

We were blown away by the quality of our applicant pool, which made for some tough decisions. Meet our eight new Project Leads and learn about their inspiring projects.

3. Partnership with D.O.E.

We are excited and thankful to have the U.S. Department of Energy, EERE Advanced Manufacturing Office supporting our pilot alongside Berkeley Lab.

4. The ARPA-E Summit

We had a steady stream of visitors at our booth and many exciting conversations ensued. Check out the write up by GigaOM and our coverage in the New York Times.

5. Recruiting our next cohort

We expect to recruit a second cohort of the best and most committed energy innovators in summer 2015. Sign up for updates to stay in the loop.

6. Expanding our team

Thanks to generous support from CalCEF and the 11th Hour Project, we are looking for an entrepreneur-in-residence to help us refine our model beyond the pilot phase. View the position description.
