Visolis wins DOE SBIR and Small Business Voucher (SBV) awards

Visolis, in partnership with Berkeley Lab, recently won a DOE SBIR award to use its bio-thermochemical process to demonstrate upgrading of agri-residues and municipal solid waste into higher value chemicals. Visolis also received support from DOE's SBV program to scale up its process in partnership with NREL and PNNL. As part of the SBV program, the process will be scaled from 300 liters to 9000 liters using industrial grade inputs to produce monomer(s) for materials like elastomers, polyesters, polyurethanes, and other products.
