Two Nobel laureates visited this summer (and how you know Cyclotron Road is a startup)

Nobel laureates Bob Grubbs and Steven Chu both visited Cyclotron Road over the summer. Grubbs visited to attend a quarterly review for polySpectra, led by his former student and Cyclotron Road innovator Raymond Weitekamp.

Chu visited for a meeting with Cyclotron Road innovator Tom McDonald and his Mosaic Materials co-founder, UC Berkeley Professor Jeff Long. In true startup fashion, Tom and Jeff met with Chu in our makeshift meeting room (endearingly dubbed "The Cave"), complete with a white sheet as projection screen.

Thanks to Bob and Steve for stopping by!
