Mallinda has developed revolutionary, malleable thermoset resins to enable simple and scalable processing of carbon composites with closed-loop, low-energy recyclability. The startup, co-founded by our Cohort Two fellows Chris Kaffer and Philip Taynton, is seeking a Composite Materials Engineer as well as a Senior Scientist, Polymer/Organic Chemist. Both of these roles are full-time and located at Mallinda’s Denver lab.
The Composite Materials Engineer will lead engineering support for the scale up and production of new products, as well as leading the initial engineering support for first customers and development partners to support new material development. This individual will also play a key role in the technology development team by leading the engineering activities, engage with external manufacturing partners, suppliers and customers all toward driving our first commercial products to scaled production. The Senior Scientist, Polymer/Organic Chemist role will support the Technology Development team by participating in and overseeing internal chemistry activities, engage with external manufacturing partners, suppliers and customer all toward driving our first commercial product to scaled production.
