Antora Energy is on a mission to move electricity grids worldwide away from fossil fuels and towards clean, renewable energy by developing inexpensive, reliable energy storage. Antora is currently seeking candidates for two positions: a PV specialist and a chemist.
By pairing perovskite—in a material that is transparent to infrared light, stable, and low-cost—with conventional solar cells, Tandem PV is leading an important evolution in solar energy. It is seeking a thin-film Process Engineer for its San Jose, Calif., facility as well as a solution-based perovskite thin-film Process Engineer to work at its Golden, Colo., facility.
Feasible, cofounded by Cyclotron Road fellows Andrew Hsieh and Barry Van Tassell, is building products that will redefine how batteries are made and used, through ultrasonic inspection and analysis. The Berkeley, Calif.-based company is seeking enthusiastic, diligent, and creative interns, with an aptitude for learning new skills, to join its team in Emeryville, CA. It would like to bring on interns for four focus areas: Battery testing; business development; hardware development; and software analytics.
Rather than replacing classical high-performance computing systems, Bleximo is building quantum accelerators as complementary special-purpose quantum computation systems that will run in parallel with classical computers. Bleximo is looking to grow its operation with an experimental physicist, an RF/microwave engineer, and a mechanical engineer.
Mallinda has developed revolutionary, malleable thermoset resins to enable simple and scalable processing of carbon composites with closed-loop, low-energy recyclability. The startup, co-founded by our Cohort Two fellows Chris Kaffer and Philip Taynton, is seeking a Composite Materials Engineer as well as a Senior Scientist, Polymer/Organic Chemist. Both of these roles are full-time and located at Mallinda’s Denver lab.
Sepion Technologies is an advanced membrane startup dedicated to enabling mass electrification of human mobility and accelerating the transition to 100% renewable energy power by commercializing groundbreaking battery materials. It is hiring a Director of R&D.
Tierra Biosciences (formerly Synvitrobio), founded by Cyclotron Road fellow Zachary Sun, develops bio-based processes for green chemistry. Using ProtoVitro, its next-generation expression platform, the startup offers an inexpensive, cell-free prototyping system that allows for experimentally validated high-throughput data collection. Synvitrobio is hiring a research associate to assist the team with executing laboratory protocols and process development.
Treau, co-founded by Cyclotron Road fellow Vince Romanin, is a seed-stage hardware startup making home heaters and air conditioners that are better for the environment, easier to install, and more pleasant to use. To see current job postings please visit the Treau website.
