CalWave, led by Cyclotron Road Innovator Marcus Lehmann, has placed 2nd out of 92 teams in the US Department of Energy Wave Energy Prize.
Marcus Lehmann and the CalWave team spent the last two weeks competing in the final gate of the DOE Wave Energy Prize at the Navy's Carderock facility in West Bethesda, Maryland. The winner will be announced on November 16th, 2016
Cyclotron Road's CalWave is ranked first in the U.S. Department of Energy Wave Energy Prize after Phase I of the competition and will advance as one of nine finalist teams and two alternates to Phase II.
